PRAYER POINTS
- Pray for wisdom and doors to open as we consider doing community days / evenings in Darragh Cross this year
- For the team to be guided by God in all we do and for unity and a passion for Jesus to be evident in all lives
- For the young people who come along to be encouraged in their faith and open to God.
- For guidance in the theme and devotions that will be relevant and inspired by God.

Reachout 09 – Calling all leaders

Reachout 09 will be happening 3rd to 7th August, probably based at Raffery, and it’s that time of year again where we are trying to get a team together.
If you would be interested in being a leader (18+) or helper (16+) then come along to the following:

PLANNING MEETING – Thursday 14th May, 7:30 PM @ The Bells house, Boardmills (email us if you need directions).Even if you cannot make the meeting and want to be on the team, let us know ASAP by email / text as we need to get numbers finalised, and AccessNI checks completed. Further updates will be posted as they are finalised

Reachout 08

Well Reachout 08 has been and gone, but what a week its been : lots of laughs, lots of fun, new friendships developed, old ones renewed, and the challenge of living a transformed life presented daily is fresh in our minds.  God is good, and blessed us big time this week, and we want all the glory and honour and praise to go to the one who is worthy, our loving Father in heaven.

Don’t forget the service of celebration tonight, Sunday 17th August, 6:30PM @ Boardmills, where there will be some praise, reflections on the week and a few memorable photo’s and video’s reminding us of the week that was Reachout 08.

And keep checking the website for updates, you can subscribe to the RSS feed to get the updates.  Feel free to leave comments which will appear when approved.  We hope to upload the talks from the week, and the praise items, so add the site to your bookmarks and keep checking it for updates.

24 hour prayer

“If then my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face… I will hear them from heaven” 2 Chronicles 7:14

A 24 hr prayer day will take place from 4pm on Friday 8^th – 4pm on Saturday 9^th August to pray specifically for the Reach Out events taking place this summer.

If you would like to join us in praying for the Reachout week, choose a half hour slot within the times stated above and use the prayer points which can be downloaded from the Downloads page, or by clicking here.

TRANSFORM

This is our theme for Reachout this year, the idea of being transformed in our thinking, our actions, and ultimately in our heart. The pressures on us to conform to the ways of this world, and we hope to journey with you as we explore Gods word, looking at how we can be transformed from the inside out in response to His amazing gift of a second chance in Jesus. So come ready to have our hearts and minds Transformed so we can be his Agents of Transformation in society.

Reachout 2008 – Finalised times and dates

Quick update about Reachout this year: the times and dates are finalised as follows -

We completed the 10k run, and survived to tell the tale, raising some funds for Reachout along the way in an effort to keep costs down. Further details and costs will follow, so keep an eye on the website for further details, leave a comment below, or drop us an email.

Fundraising

Just to let you all know, some of the leaders will be taking part in the 10k run in Lisburn to help raise some funds for Reachout 08. If you fancy drumming up some sponsorship, or offering some encouragement en route, get in touch with one of the leaders to find out more details.
